The May Law Firm is a boutique Baton Rouge based firm established in 2006 by managing member, Jason R. May. Over the years, through diligence, hard work and education, the May Law Firm has developed a reputation for honesty, integrity and satisfactory results.

My practice includes adoptions, personal injury (including but not limited to automobile accidents and slip and fall cases) and successions (estate planning).  I have completed over 200 adoptions (private, agency, intra-family and recognition of foreign decree).  I have also secured multiple compensatory settlements for my personal injury clients.

The goal of the May Law Firm is to help people, whether by forming a happy family (adoption), helping my clients navigate the legal system during a difficult time (succession) or securing adequate compensation for a wrong that they have suffered.  In my practice, I pride myself on three things: knowledge, results and phenomenal customer service.  I am always in constant communication with my clients, keeping them up to speed with the status of their case.  At the May Law Firm, no clients’ case is treated the same. I listen to my clients’ issues and develop a tailor-made strategy for each case.  

My clients are treated like family.  Many of them will attest that at the May Law Firm, there is a good chance that they will hear from Jason even after their case is completed.  Completion of your case does not have to mean completion of our relationship.  I look forward to helping you.
